Taylor Swift watches Travis Kelce struggle as Lena Dunham sends message after Chiefs loss to Texans

Travis Kelce was not at his best on Sunday, but he still got support from people close to him. After the Kansas City Chiefs lost 20-10 to the Houston Texans in Week 14, Lena Dunham shared a warm message for the tight end. The game took place on Sunday at NRG Stadium in Houston. Dunham, a close friend of Taylor Swift, attended the game and later posted photos and videos on Instagram, showing love for Kelce despite the tough afternoon.

Lena Dunham watched the Kansas City Chiefs play the Houston Texans on Sunday in Houston, Texas. Soon after the game ended, she took to Instagram and shared a long caption about her experience in the stands. 

In the post, Dunham joked about being a New Yorker who lives in London but still supports Kansas City. “My first home team and my first home game,” Dunham wrote, adding how much the trip meant to her. 

She also shared several clips from the stadium and photos with friends. Dunham wore a red Kansas City Chiefs jacket and a cream-colored cap while watching the game live.

The Chiefs struggled on offense, and Travis Kelce could not make much of an impact. Kansas City managed only 10 points and failed to control the game. 

Even so, Dunham ended her caption with a loving note for Kelce. “Love you @killatrav,” she wrote, showing support despite the loss.

She also mentioned Taylor Swift in the post, calling this phase her “sports era.” The message felt light, personal, and supportive, especially after a game that did not go Kelce’s way.

Taylor Swift watches Chiefs Game with Selena Gomez as season remains tough

Taylor Swift was one of many celebrities who attended week 14 of the NFL season on Sunday afternoon at the NRG stadium. 

She was accompanied by her long-time friend Selena Gomez. They were also joined by Lena Dunham and Michael Cohen. 

Fans of Taylor Swift and others posted pictures of this star-studded group on social media.

Taylor wore a black and white striped dress and Selena was dressed in an all-black outfit. During the game, all four were able to see and hear what was happening on the field, and communicated with each other about the plays that were being made.

Another celebrity that was present in the stands was actor Leonardo DiCaprio, adding to the ever growing list of celebrities in attendance this week.

Meanwhile, on the field, the Kansas City Chiefs continue to struggle with the ups and downs of the 2022 season. 

They started the year with two consecutive losses but were able to bounce back and win some games; however, consistency has continued to be their Achilles heel. 

At the conclusion of week 14, the Kansas City Chiefs have six wins and currently sit in third place in the AFC West Divisional Standings.

Travis Kelce and the Chiefs will now have to prepare for their next game against the Los Angeles Chargers. 

This upcoming game will be very important for the Kansas City Chiefs as they will try to continue their playoff hope and solidify their offense problems before heading into the playoffs.
