In a tighter schedule of just 40 innings over three years, Virat Kohli’s ODI stats reveal outstanding consistency paired with greater intensity. He racked up 2,086 runs at an average of 65.20 and a strike rate of 97.7, being dismissed 32 times, with nine centuries (one every 4.4 innings) and 21 scores above fifty in 52.5% of his innings.

This evolution meets the modern ODI requirements for quicker scoring in powerplays and death overs, refined through net sessions that emphasize lofted covers and mid-wicket pulls.

Gautam Gambhir praises Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma for handling pressure
