Rehan Ahmed took his red-ball form into the shorter format with a bang after he started impressing for the Trent Rockets in The Hundred. He scored 37 off just 23 deliveries and also took three wickets, conceding only 15 runs in the previous match on 27 August to win the match. After scoring him runs and also taking them for two wickets in the same match earlier in the competition, he also became one of a select few to register that all-round double in the men’s tournament.

After losing to the Oval Invincibles in the final, Rehan’s influence, energy, and composure throughout the tournament were undeniable. At just 21, his fearlessness and consistent performances across formats have made him one of England’s most exciting players.
